[Going to Work] is a new conference about work in America.
[Going to Work] 2023 will bring together a diverse group of leaders from every major sector of American life—corporations, labor, technology, academia, philanthropy, culture, and more —all in one space.
The event is invitation only, at least one member of the Welcome Committee knows the invitee. We also want to open the event to others who we have yet to meet. If you want to attend, request an invitation at the link above.
The format will be almost entirely small-group conversations (what some people call an “unconference”), to create an environment where we can have the most important, sometimes-difficult conversations, with allies and across differences. We want to learn as deeply as possible and figure out better answers, move things forward, deepen some relationships and build new ones.
We’ve selected Baltimore as the home for this inaugural event, because it reflects the real issues we need to solve. We intend to only host this conference for a few years, more than a one-off, a focused project to meet this moment in America.
