Thank you for joining us for the first [Going to Work]. You are an exceptional group, and unusually diverse (in thinking, politics, demographics, occupations, socioeconomic status, philosophies, all of it). We’re here together to learn from one another, and move things forward by having conversations that may be difficult in the regular day-to-day.

We’ve selected Baltimore as the home for this event, because it experiences the issues we need to solve. We hope you’ll take the time to look around and get to know our host city. 

Our team has also taken great care to design an experience that encourages you to open up.  If we succeed, you’ll leave here having deepened some relationships, and built new ones. Thank you to each of you for participating, to our Welcome Committee for your work support along the way, and to the staff (who did all the real work to create this experience for us).
